I’ve tried Thinx, Amazon, and many other brands for period undies and these are the only ones worth anything! Thinx bleed through and Amazon elastic wore out and others just don’t hold anything. Please Aerie bring these back, you don’t understand how bad I need more!! These were an absolute life saver

I’ve seen ads for products like these and decided I should try them out. I was not disappointed, they’re just so easy! No messing with products and no leaks. This pair is actually my second pair because you’ll want at least 2. One for day and one for night. They are a bit bulky in the crotch but not as bad as a pad is.

I love that these underwear are not super thick and feels lightweight. The padding inside covers from front all the way to the back so there’s no leakage when I lay down. I still do wear a pad with these for maintenance control when washing. I still feel dry and no leakage when sleeping. I wish I bought more before the limited time ended. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Managed to get these for free to try. Even on my heaviest day there's no leak! I can wear through the night and know I'll wake in the morning dry. Sizing was only a tad large. For ref I'm 4"11 and 212 lbs. Only complaint is that they are to bulky to wear out of the house. I'm ok with that though if it means I can breath lol AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought these and was super skeptical. Of course by the time they got here, my period was over lol. But I’m actually wearing them while writing this review now! I was super afraid these would leak, and actually went to the bathroom at work to make sure they didn’t! NO LEAKS!! other reviews say it’s really large but i got my normal size and it fit as expected! so I am a pad hater and wanted to find an alternative to sleep in. stayed dry, didn’t leak, and it didn’t take that long to get used to. the padding goes up your behind a little bit, i couldn’t wear this in public cause it’s visible in shorts but it’s not a problem for overnight. didnt try in jeans or sweatpants but it’d probably be similar #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I like these. However, I do normally wear pads so the “feeling” did not bother me, as it might people who aren’t used to that. I will definitely have to get more especially to use for exercise. Yes they ride up kind of high, but let’s be serious my normal period undies aren’t cute either. I do agree with others that they do run a little small, which is extra frustrating because on our periods is when we retain the most water, feel the most bloated, and want to be comfiest.

I love these! After reading well over a dozen reviews, I decided to try them. I'm 5'4, around 135lbs, & purchased a medium. They fit great! I wore them my first two nights, my heaviest, & didn't have any leaks or bleed through. Yes, they're bulky, but I don't mind it wearing them to bed. It's far better than a tampon or large pad for comfortability, sanitary, & environmental reasons. On my lighter days, I could see wearing these under jeans, but I really didn't feel they were too bulky. I bought 2 to start out with, & will be purchasing a few more.

I wish I could have gotten these years ago! They are total game changer and money saver! I was able to wear these all day with having leaks or bleed throughs. I read the reviews first and saw that they run big so I ordered a size smaller than my normal underwear and they fit perfectly. Obviously they are thicker than normal underwear so I would not recommend wearing tight pants because they do have a visible panty line. I will be ordering several more of these!

No leaks overnight, wore all day, they absorb more than tampons and pads for me. So much nicer than wearing a pad if I want to wear a tampon on heavier days with these too. Elastic fits snug which makes them feel secure. Especially great if you’re somewhere where changing a tampon isn’t ideal (camping, long work/school day). I’m usually a M in boybriefs but S in these fits well/slightly snug how I wanted them

I use these as a menstrual cup backup and the gusset coverage is perfect for overnights. I slept at my partners house and I had no worries at all about leaks or odor. My usual size is perfect, they look big but have slightly less stretch than other aerie underwear so be aware of that. I have not tried thinx but I have tried other period panties and these hold up well (especially for the price!). They're a bit bulkier than regular underwear so if you're looking for a no-show pair this is not it, but they're definitely wearable all day.

these undies are super absorbent and comfy! will definitely replace your pads. I find them a bit pricey ..but I'll pay for comfort and the environment. Overall, super happy with this purchase, they really improve the period experience :)

I think these are great! I wish I had ordered a Medium though. I can wear a small in pants and unders but Medium is much more comfortable. I read reviews and decided to size down but they seem to fit like a true small and therefore leave lines on me. They may look big but once you get them on they fit tts! I'd totally wear under dresses, skirts, etc. Might be a bit too tight if you wear true skinny/non stretchy jeans but they'll be just fine under my mom jeans!

I have a few pairs of thinx and I decided to try these because they are so much cheaper. These are MUCH more comfortable than the Thinx, it says use for lighter days. So I mixed these in with my Thinx. I hope they make some fore heavy days because these are so much more comfortable than my others.

Night times especially have always been a struggle but these are the perfect solution. They're so much better than pads because they are more absorbent, softer, a better fit, and less obvious. Wearing pads, I bled through my underwear every cycle but because of the fit and height of the lining of Aerie period underwear, I don't have to worry about that at all anymore. Such a relief! The only drawbacks are that they take at least 24 hours to air dry so you will definitely need multiple pairs and they are not necessarily for heavy bleeders. One pair can be worn for a whole day and night on light days but I only feel comfortable going 12 hours in a pair at the beginning of my cycle. I got one size smaller than normal. They still look bigger than my normal size but fit snugly because they aren't as stretchy.

I don’t ever write reviews but this is definitely a game changer. I’ve always wanted to try period panties but the other brand names tends to be a bit more so when I saw AE coming out with one I decided to try it. Yes it’s thicker, it’s a period pantie what do you expect? But I wore it over jeans and no pantie lines whatsoever. It’s comfortable and I feel secure wearing it on my lighter days. One thing I was worried about for period panties is the smell (yes I said it) but no smell whatsoever!

Finally there is a period panty that does the job without breaking the bank. They run large so size down ladies

Love them, very eco friendly and a plus, my wallet loves them hahahah. Surprisingly they wash very easy.

Get these!!! They are so soft and comfortable, and I feel truly protected in them. I’ve worn them for 2 cycles now and I can confidently say that these are worth the money. When I first put them on I thought they looked a bit bulky but after a few washes they’re much more form fitting so don’t be discouraged by the size when you first open them. I will be purchasing one in every colour!

I have many problems with my period and cannot wear tampons. The pads have irritated my skin in the past because of having to wear them so often. These underwear have been a life saver!

I thought I'd made a terrible mistake when I took them out of the package and felt how bulky they were. How could they be better than a pad when they felt like a diaper in my hand? But I decided to reserve judgment. I wore a pad for the first and heaviest day of my period. The next morning, I put my new period underwear on and fell instantly in love. They weren't exactly like normal underwear, but they were close, and definitely a lot lighter than a pad. The part that really sold me, though, was when I didn't have do that awkward little dance of trying to make a fresh pad sit in the proper position after pulling my underwear up. At no point while I was wearing them did they feel damp or have any sort of odor. And leaks? Not one! I frequently have leaks thanks to my pad shifting when I sit down, and I have learned to sit in very specific and rather uncomfortable ways to avoid them. (And even then, I still get up frequently to make sure I'm not staining yet another piece of furniture.) The fact that the lining in these underwear extends up the back is, honestly, life-changing. I got to sit comfortably! I didn't have to constantly worry! I was even confident enough to wear light-colored jeans. Regarding size: I usually buy Aerie boy briefs in XXS or XS depending on what's in stock. There were a lot of reviews warning that these run large, but since XXS was unavailable, I decided to risk it and try XS. They're definitely bigger than usual, and I'll order the XXS if it's available, but the XS still worked out fine and I'll buy it again if I don't have a choice. Purchased 3 pairs and love them. They're exactly like the more expensive brands but more comfortable on the waistband. The padded part comes up decently high on the back too which is comforting. I purchased the L as my hips are 42" around, so for me these fit true to size based on the fact I am on the higher end of their "L" measurements. Use their size guide while wearing your favourite undies and you should know what to expect. The printed style is super cute and I plan to purchase only that style going forward!
