I love flannels but as a curvy lady have trouble finding one that is not fitted over my bum. Not this one! It is beautifully oversized in the right places and loose through the bottom of the hem covering my butt at 5’9! Got my true size and it fits as expected

I have to admit I did not love this flannel at first since it’s more oversized than I normally go for but after wearing a few times I am in love/will be ordered in other colors! I could tell from the photos on the model’s that I should size down and I’m glad I did!! I ordered an XS and probably could have even ordered an XXS and it would still fit fine (and would still be slightly baggy on me). This flannel does run oversized but I love the fit. I went with my normal size (xs) and it’s fits how I expected. The width is more oversized than the length. One of the best Aerie/AE flannels I’ve purchased in a while. Only docked a star because I typically wear a size medium comfortably and a size XXS was still pretty roomy on me - I feel as this is a little too oversized if there is such a thing!

Very cute & cozy. LOVE the colors, but just a heads up - this is definitely an OVERSIZED shirt. For further context, I am 5'2 & 140 lbs & originally ordered a small but ended up exchanging for an XS. With the XS, I was still able to achieve the comfy/oversized look without the garment being baggy/HUGE on my frame.

For reference, I like really large and long flannels. I sized down too much in this one, I normally get a medium or large in Aerie tops and got a medium. It fits with plenty of room so it is oversized but I like bigger, so I should have stuck with my normal size. I don't think this flannel is as long as previous year's. It is comfy without being too thick.

I absolutely love the color and feel of this flannel and usually order an XL in tops but I am returning and getting a size smaller as it is swimming on me. With the smaller size I will still be able to put a sweatshirt under and layer up while still wearing it by itself without looking ridiculous. Super cute colors!

This flannel is super soft and so comfortable but runs BIG! I read the reviews before ordering and ended up ordering an XS and I'm usually a M & the XS is still very oversized on me. For reference, I am 5'0" and 140lbs, 36DD, and a mom pooch. I could have even gone an XXS. It's definitely a nice flannel, but definitely size down!! Haven't washed it yet ( wearing for the first time today ) so hopefully it holds up! So far, it's good!

love the fabric, just wish i would have understood just how oversized this is. i typically size up for a truly oversized look, but this is just too big. Length is fine...but its too wide and sleeves are several inches too long. like so long you cant do anything while wearing it. i guess as i look back at pictures online i see that the sleeves are either cuffed or you cant see the girls hands. that being said, ill prob go to a store and try a small on to see if the fit is better for me, bc its so cozy.

I really wanted to love this piece. I am the Queen of button ups, plaid, and all things flannel. I own many similar items from L.L. Bean in XL/16 and they fit comfortable and slightly tailored. I was hoping this Aerie piece would the oversized version of all the other brands I own. Even sizing down to Medium I was still swimming in this button up. As a curvy girl (top heavy) this piece just didn’t do my body any favors in the “oversized fashion” look. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I really wanted to love this but I just don’t think it suits me. It’s lighter than I thought it would be. It’s more of a faded blue. I got a small and it fits great as it’s still a bit oversized but it makes me look very cowgirl-ish which isn’t the look I was going for. Sadly I’ll be returning it.

Disappointed in Quality

I was so excited to have this pretty neutral colored flannel. It is soft and I sized up to a large for a more over sized fit and it is perfect. However, before I have even had a chance to wear it, it is already pilling. I wash my new clothing before wearing and after one wash following the tag directions, it is pilling like i have been wearing it for years. Aerie quality is going downhill.
