Aerie Shine Pique Banded High Cut Cheeky Bikini Bottom

Super flattering cut on me. I love the high rise and wide band. The back also stays in place better than most cheeky bottoms do. I’m 5’7” 145 lb with a long torso, for reference.

I loved this suit so much I bought 2 more in different colors! Looks SO GOOD. Kept my tummy in during an all-inclusive trip to Mexico (so food baby belly all day)! The high cut style gives you legs for days. Height 5’3”, 34B chest, 26.5 waist (without food lol), 36-37 hips ordered size XS top and bottom. A little tight in the top but was more secure than the small.

For reference, I'm 5'7" normally a size 14 and I ordered an XL in the darker blue. This bottom is SOOO flattering. It snaches you in all the right places. I went to the store to try on and as most women know, swimsuit shopping can be awful, but I slipped these bottoms on and immediately was obsessed. They are cheeky so just keep that in mind, but I can't wait to wear these. I love the high leg cut which is super flattering. If you have curves, these bottoms are for you!

I love the color on my darker skin tone and it goes up fairly high on the waist to cover up the stomach area and make it look more flattering! Will be buying in other colors

The bathing suit its so cute it makes you look beautiful and rock the body. The style is so cute its just right. As a mom of two I feel young and gorgeous. So happy with this purchase

These bottoms add a little shine and pop to my bathing suit selection. The banded waist offers some security and hits just the right spot on my hips. The coverage is just cheeky enough to be able to wear around friends or family. The color and shine throws me back to playing pretend mermaids in the pool and choosing our mermaid tail color.

So, I definitely can see why people with curves have beef with this bottom, because it cuts right into your hips. However, because I have a square shaped long body, that’s an advantage to me because it actually makes me appear as if I do have curves! Love love love, have never felt so confident

I like these bottoms for days when I want to wear a bikini and get some sun but I don’t feel the most confident in my belly area that day. I like the high cut and it gives good coverage on the backside.

I love the cut and how it fits, but the color faded from the sun after wearing it only twice. It's now a dull pink in certain spots.

Loved these bottoms! They fit great and were so flattering, until you got them wet. They went from cheeky and cute to saggy diaper butt in second flat. I would recommend sizing down. The waist band has some give so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I noticed Aerie took away the high cut/cheekiness of the crossover bottoms, so I opted to try these instead. I love the cut of the back, but the front side is WAY too high cut in comparison to the cut of the crossovers and left my “thigh-brow” wayyyy to exposed to my liking. Needed a little more lower tummy coverage in the front of these, so had to return.

I have a few pairs of these bottoms from past seasons, that I love, but these are not it. These bottoms are not nearly as flattering as previous versions, are not as high rise and have less coverage in the front and back. If you have any curves at all I’d stay clear of these ones!

I usually love all my Aerie swimsuits but this one just wasn’t it. The material was so thin & the back was constantly riding up. Returning 👎

Aerie's "High Cut Cheeky Bikini Bottom's" are my absolute favorites. In fact, they are the only bathing suit bottoms that I will wear. However, I was looking for new swimsuits for this upcoming summer and noticed there aren't many new options for the regular/crossover high cut cheeky bottoms other than the 'ruched' ones (which I may try as well) . So I decided to try this new style out and it was not for me. Nowhere near as flattering for me as a midsized gal. Could just be a personal preference, but I'm hoping they'll release some more regular/crossover options. I wanted to write this review for anyone curious in comparing these to the other high cut cheeky bottoms. Other than my personal preference for the fit, the overall swimsuit and it's material was great. :) #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Super cute bathing suit & I love the fit but I literally wore it in the hot tub on vacation one time and it turned purple before I even got out! I’ve been buying aerie swim for years and this is the only problem I ever had, but I just wanted to share!

For several years, Aerie swim has been my go to, and the high cut high waisted bottoms are my absolute favorite style. The bottoms have been different the past 2 years, and this year’s style is an absolute no for me. I ordered a size up because I was worried these bottoms would be too revealing, and I was definitely right. There is not enough front coverage and exposes areas that do not need to be seen. These bottoms are too high cut for midsize girls, and not flattering. Unfortunately, I will be returning these bottoms and hoping the usual style will be released soon.

I bought this because it was similar to the last few years design, however the bottom part of the waist dug in way too much and really accentuated the love handles so I returned this.

The color is brilliant until you get out of the water and your lady bits are on full display. It’s so see through that the black printing on the inside with the size is visible. I purchased the hot pink, I’m not sure if the dark colors are better? The matching top was also see through without the pads.

i really loved the light orange color when i tried it on in store, so i ordered the black in the same size. it really didn’t work for me and the coverage was less than the other color i tried on. i’m not sure why there was a difference, but it was disappointing as i loved the others.

I would have loved to see this bottom on different sizes in the photos but ordered it anyway. Not enough coverage on the sides. Cut was not flattering from the front.
