I absolutely love these linen shorts. They are so light weight, comfortable, and soft. I purchased the green ones and the colour is exactly like how it looks on the website and on instagram. They do fit a little on the larger side due to the breezey-nature of a linen short. They also have pockets!!!!!

These shorts are soft and breathable. The waist has plenty of stretch but unfortunately, they ride up. They fit so perfectly and I wanted to keep them but they ride up when you walk. In other words, thick thighs will eat them. If I were just lounging around, I’d keep them. I wanted more wear out of them though, so I returned.

I got the blue/white striped to wear with the matching top. I find Aerie's shorts to run a size bigger this year - I have always been an XL in shorts and this year's XLs are way too big. I'd size down once in these. They are very stretchy. I'd say they're not a very substantial short - the material is on the thinner side and they're not as good as last year's pool to party shorts. But they do look cute with the shirt.

Misleading pictures! See-through and flimsy

I'm so disappointed in these shorts! While the fit is great, the fabric is so thin and see-through. I can't image wearing this outside of going to bed. They feel like really thin boxer shorts. I purchased the blue and white striped pair and it looks nothing like the pictures, which make the fabric look thicker and NOT see-through. I can see everything through these white and blue striped shorts. I can't believe these were $39.95. These should be in the sleepwear section and cost the price of a pair of underwear. Overall, extremely disappointed. I feel swindled that these don't match the pictures at all.

When I opened the package I thought these looking very small. The attached tag said xl which is what I ordered but the tag on the back of the shorts says small. Little disappointed they sent the wrong size
