Aerie Real Sunnie Strapless Lightly Lined Bra

I got this in my normal size and the band was a little tighter than normal. It’s strapless though so I’d rather it tighter. If you don’t like tight bands I would suggest sizing up one.

Got this for a top that required a strapless, and it was exactly what I needed. Unlike some strapless bras, it’s snug in all the right ways and there was no slippage the night I wore it. No complaints here.

i have a hard time finding strapless bras that work with larger breasts but this bra is really good. lots of support, the only thing i found was that it was a little snug compared to other bras of the same size so considering sizing up in the band.

this bra does not have the non stick silicon lining but isn't made of flimsy fabric. seems to hold it's shape and stay up.

This is the best strapless bra that I have ever worn. Saying that, it is still a strapless bra and after several hours of wear, you will start to rub and it can be a little painful/annoying. The straps were somewhat difficult to get off, I’m sure that will be easier over time. Support level was good - what you would expect. This baby DOES stay in place. I read the reviews and decided to size up in the band. Silly decision. The bra was too large and ended up giving it to my sister. I have to reorder my correct size. Very comfortable bra.

I’ve owned a couple strapless bras in my day and this one is the first one that fits everywhere. It doesn’t gap in the cup which is rare for me and strapless bras, and it isn’t too tight where it kills me all day.

This bra runs extremely small in size. I ordered a 36B and it is more likely equivalent to a 34B if that. I measured my body exactly as described and according to the chart my size should have been 36B. I will return and hope they have something that fits.

even on the tightest setting this never stays up, the only good thing is that it came with straps so i can use it as a regular bra. really disappointing because i needed it for an event, if not for my stomach this would keep falling im sure

The shape of the bra does not match the shape of my chest. There is a strange U shaped wire in the middle that awkwardly separates the girls. The balconette style can be seen through my shirt, since it only comes half way up the height of my boobs. It is very soft and I don't have a problem with it sliding down but it isn't comfortable to wear. Maybe the bra is fine and I just have a strange chest, but I don't think this style is for me!

I ready other reviews that said to size up in the band, so I went up from my normal 36DD to a 38DD. I'm so glad I did. the 38 in this bra fit just as tight as my 36's in my other aerie bras, so there was no way a 36DD would have worked for me in this strapless. Overall, the material is nice and comfortable, but the cups don't provide much shape or support. I like the bra well enough, it just doesn't have the best shape or support in the cups and the band runs small. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I love the addition of the very thin layer of rubber/grippy material that prevents this bra from slipping. I wish more wireless bras I've tried had that feature. Padded very thinly though, which I didn't like. And because of this, the cups were slightly too large. Not sure if a size down would help or not. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered this, because the last Aerie strapless bra i had was literally perfect. I had it for years, eventually had to get a new one. I recently bought this one but the fit on me was so odd that i had to return it. the band was incredibly tight - and usually a 32 is perfect for me - while the cup size was way too big, and an A cup at Aerie generally fits perfectly. So i'm not sure if the one i received was just defective or if i'm an odd shape or what. with all of that being said, the quality of the bra itself was so nice, the fabric was soft and the grips were really great. I just wish it fit me! Hoping to try the other option Aerie has once that's back in stock!

This bra is extremely soft and comfortable in material, but the sizing for this bra does run REALLY small. I feel that if I were to get it in the right size, it would become one of my favorite strapless bras. I recommend sizing up due to the band running small (cup size is just fine) and it will be perfect! I typically order a 32B in Aerie's Bralettes and they fit so comfortable, like a dream, so I expected the same for their regular bras. I had to begrudgingly go through the return process and order a size up. Overall have to give three stars simply due to the sizing being off. Hopefully, the bigger one will fit! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought this for the strapless function of it in my size (30A), but the cups gape too much and it is slightly noticeable through a shirt. Wearing it with straps deals with that issue, but it is marketed as a strapless bra so I am a bit sad about it. Will be keeping it, but not for its strapless option. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I have a few bras from aerie that I LOVE and they're all 32C and fit perfectly. I saw other reviews of this bra and those said it fit large but I stuck with my 32C. It is so small that I can't wear it and will have to size up at least one size. Maybe two (neither in stock). I'm disappointed but it's soft and would be nice in a good fit.

I was very excited for this because I love the regular sunnie lightly lined bras but I'm SUPER disappointed with this one. I have been trying to order a strapless bra for ages. I first tried in 34B and the cup size was way larger than I expected. I tried again in 34A and I have the same problem. With the convertible straps on it fits fine. But as soon as you take them off, the top of the cup is just hanging free-- it needs to be cinched in in some way. I can't wear it under tighter tanks bc the cup line is so obvious. This is also basically the only strapless bra aerie has so I have to find another brand :(

I ordered a 36A and it was wayyy to big, it fit like I was wearing a C, it just made me feel worse about my small boobs. I have other bras from AE that are a 36A and they fit perfect so idk what’s up with this one.

This bra was okay. The band seems to have some anti-slip type of material, which is nice, but the wire really digs into my sternum unless I pull it a bit below where it's supposed to sit.

Cute bra with comfy fabric, but the band runs much smaller than other 38B normal and strapless bras I've bought from Aerie. I know strapless bras are supposed to be snug for support but this one was uncomfortably tight. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

the back kept sliding down and rolling. I wouldn't recommend this bra

First, the band is way too thin for DDD's; second, there's no side support to keep the girls snug; third, because of the first and second points, the girls puddle at the top of the bra like how water puddles at the top of a glass...just before spilling out the sides. Returning.

I really need a strapless bra for summer tops, and I've had great luck with other Aerie bras. I ordered a band size up since strapless bras tend to be a little tighter. Even with the increased band size, it was still uncomfortably tight. The material is great and it stays up (although I didn't wear it for long) but the lining on the cups is far too thin. When I put a tank top over it, it looked like I was wearing an unlined bra. I'll be returning :( #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I find this bra very uncomfortable because of how high up the gore (centre part) comes. It presses into my sternum painfully and leaves me with a red mark after 10 minutes of wear. Like a previous reviewer, I was also looking for a replacement for the Audrey strapless bra that Aerie used to make, which was my holy grail everyday bra. Compared to Sunnie, the cup underwires were more of a rounded U shape with sides that went straight up instead of angled outwards, which I found gave me a much better fit. I wish they would bring it back!

This bra was odd. I love the wireless real sunnie bras and had high hopes for this one but was disappointed. I ordered my normal size and the band was too tight and the cups were too large. As another reviewer mentioned, the cups were set too close together in the middle as well. It was just a weird fit all around and was returned.

Too tight around my ribs, and the bones dug into my chest. Returned!

I've been looking to replace my favorite strapless bra that I got from Aerie many years ago. It's called the Audrey. This doesn't compare in any way. A 32B in the Audrey fits perfectly, but the Sunnie in a 32A has cups that are way too big. The cups are also pushed too much to the center.. maybe it's just not the shape for me. The worst part is the center front is very stiff and the underwire digs into my chest that it hurts just trying it on. It also doesn't have the grippy material along the inside edge that the Audrey has. Pictured is a black Audrey and beige Sunnie.
