Aerie High Waisted Ruffle Short

Very flattering yet appropriate coverage shorts to wear out. I like the high waist and how the ruffles accentuate my curves. My hips are narrow and I like that these ruffles make it look like I have wider hips for a more feminine shape. The material is thin, I think it could be softer but the flattering design makes up for that

I love these cute shorts. I tried them on in store and loved that they weren't to short even for a curvy women like me. I got them for our summer vacation so haven't washed them yet but hope they hold up well.

I LOVE these! I'm definitely getting more colors. I got the brown and they're not see-through at all. I'm normally really nervous buying shorts online b/c I'm tall and I also have really big hips (like not wide, but tall if that makes sense?) so sometimes for shorts to sit properly on my waist, they end up going up my crack but these are perfect! They're a little more snug than I thought they would be but they're stretchy and still comfortable. Reminds me of shorts I've found at Free People before but these are way less expensive. Definitely recommend these!

After reading other reviews, I was worried that my regular size would be too small. However, they fit just fine! They are super cute and comfy and I love the brown color! If you are between sizes, I would size up, but a small fit me just right! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

These shorts are well made and the material is thick enough to where the white shorts aren’t really see thru if any at all. They’re almost like linen but not quite. I wear a size 12 and ordered medium. They aren’t too short and are just perfect and now I need more colors.

These shorts are pretty simple and adorable, but know that they do wrinkle easily and you may have to cut off some hanging threads after washing. They're kind of thin, so the darker colors are probably better, but they are very light and comfortable. Nice quality overall! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

i do really like these but i’m a feel type person they have to feel how i like. these feel like thin linen. size up if u have a bigger hips/waist. they are the perfect length however lowkey was getting a wedgie from these. for sure will buy in different colors though.

These are really cute shorts, I wanted something besides just denim shorts and these are perfect. Cute but still age appropriate for someone who is no longer in college lol. I got the brown and it’s a really nice color. I only give 4 stars because I tried on about 6 pairs of these shorts in store because a lot of them had messed up stitching where the ruffles are, or the back seam was too bunched up. luckily I did find a pair that worked, only needs a slight iron. These are very cute. The fabric is wrinkly, and they are a little on the big side. I am usually between a M and a L, I got the L and they are a little loose, but I think the M would be not loose enough. I think the L will be fine once I've washed and dried them. These were super cute brand new, I got them in 2 colours. But after one wash, the ends frayed and frills got all crinkled and didn't fit the same anymore. I washed as per given instructions. Wished it lasted longer

Online I purchased these shorts in a size M. I have similar style shorts in the same size. I needed to go to the store to exchange these for a size L. The fit of the L is much better and allows me to wear them higher on my waist.

I'm normally a medium in all aerie shorts without fail. But these hug my hips a bit tight and aren't as stretchy. Although they do fall to the perfect length, especially with the extra ruffle at the bottom. Unfortunately, they're wrinkle-prone :/.
