I hadn't worn/bought a bikini since I was a child, so I was nervous to buy one as an adult. But AE campaigns of body confidence made me buy one! So this high waisted bottoms let me wear a bikini with a bit of covering to feel okay and still confident and cute. This bottoms are super comfy, fit true to size and made my butt look cute. Definitely recommend, and I have bigger thighs but a small waist and these bottoms look great. I also bought this paired with the Aerie wide strap scoop bikini top.

So comfortable, and sits very nicely high up on the waist right where it naturally cinches to give a really feminine silhouette. Nice bum coverage too (not too cheeky but not your grandma's bottoms either). Really easy to mix and match with tons of different tops.

Love this swim bottom and was so happy to see AE bring it back from last year. Not everyone wants a “cheeky” or “high on the hips” swimsuit bottom. It fits perfectly and I feel comfortable in it. I just wish there were more colors (not white and army green) and designs to buy! Thank you AE for being inclusive to many sizes!

I’ve always loved AE high waisted bottoms and I’ve recently lost weight so I got more! I love how these fit and feel! They’re so comfortable and they last which is great!

For a plus size woman like myself, these are great! I love the high waisted look and you don’t look like a complete blob in these. They’re nice and stretchy and I am 5’10” and usually wear size 18 in AE jeans and these fit good for me. Not as “full coverage” as I thought, but still nice!

I’ve always had a hard time finding bottoms that fit well due to where I carry my weight. But these were amazing! No gaping in the front which has always been my issue. Wish it came in more colour options.

I wear a size 6, but am gaining a little more weight and was worried that a medium wouldn’t be the right size, but when I put it on it fit perfectly! Felt snug on my body without being suffocating and was also really flattering!

I got these on a whim, not expecting to keep them. I needed new bottoms for my tankini as my new mom bod was not going to rock a string bikini anytime soon. You're welcome. I was a little nervous they would cut in at the top of my thigh/hips where the leg opening is but surprisingly they do not. They cover my belly nicely, look slimming and are pretty comfortable! They do not dig in to make you look frumpy which was exactly what I was looking for. I have yet to wear them in the water, will be testing that out next week, but so far, these are exactly what I was looking for in swim bottoms! I've always preferred high waisted fitting bottoms because other cuts have been too revealing for me in the past or too tight. These bottoms are very comfortable and show off just enough booty that you still feel confident and sexy. I've always had a larger chest and bottom that I like to show off at least a bit, though in some of the photos this looks like it covers a lot when you put them on they're still a little cheeky. They aren't too tight in the waist which is what I was mostly worried about when ordering. They seem like they would hold up well relaxing at the pool or spending a day out and about on the beach.
