Aerie Cableknit Sweater Vest

I was honestly apprehensive to order this because of conflicting reviews... however I really loved it so I did it anyways! It fits well and sits perfectly where I want it to! However, I could understand issues with the fit based on your chest size. For reference, I don't have much in the chest department, so maybe that is why I am happy with the fit.

It’s a nice, comfortable sweater, and looks like the image. I sized up because I wanted an oversized fit, but it’s still very cropped.

This vest is very cute to layer over clothes, but it is shorter than I would like. It still looks cute, but it is important to note that it is like a short tank top. I would have given it 5 starts if it was not so cropped.

I wanted to like this vest so much! But the size was a bit too bit in the armpit area (I am a 36D) so I thought it would be too small. It is such a cute vest but I don't fit into the academia vibe as much as I wanted to! Still would recommend cause it's also.super soft! And the knit was cute #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I was gifted this by a friend and I am so glad she got it one size bigger. It is a classic fit, but the hope was one size up would be a but oversized and I was not. For reference, typically wear an xl or xxl depending on the fit of the top. I also wear a xxl in bralettes from Aerie. So an XL would have been a perfect fit for me. I'm hoping Aerie makes more, but a looser fit instead. Besides the fit, the material and feel of it is great. This worked out for me, but I was hoping it would be more size friendly.

I purchased this to wear with mini skirts and turtlenecks. It was very boxy, I would purchase an xxs or xs next time.

I gave it three stars but it truly could be someone's five stars. It was just not the look I was going for. I think it's more made to be worn on its own, but I was looking to layer it on top of a shirt... I don't know - it just didn't work for me but that doesn't mean it's a horrible piece. I know - this probably didn't help much. Sorry!
