I recently picked up the AE Cropped Chevron Crochet Tube Top in the red color, and honestly, I’m obsessed. I was looking for something cute and breathable for summer, and this top totally delivered.
First off, the crochet knit is beautiful in person—it's got that handmade, vintage feel but still looks modern. The chevron pattern and zig-zag hem give it a really flattering shape, and I love that it's fitted without being too tight. It stays in place surprisingly well for a strapless top, and the cinched bust adds a little extra shape, which I appreciate.
I’m usually a size small, and the fit was perfect for me—snug but comfortable. If you're in between sizes though, you might want to size up since it doesn't have a ton of stretch. The fabric is mostly cotton, which makes it super soft and breathable, especially on hot days.
Styling-wise, I’ve already worn it with high-waisted jeans, a maxi skirt, and even over a bikini at the beach. It’s super versatile and definitely a statement piece. I got a few compliments the first day I wore it out! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

cute top. was torn between the M or the L because my shoulders are very wide and it makes taking this on and off very hard. an M fits more snugly. after jumping up and there is minor risk of tata spillage

Knocking off a star because it runs slightly large, especially for a strapless top. I tried this on in store and ultimately decided on a size small despite my 34d bust. I felt like the medium fit fine but if i was wearing this for hours, I'm sure i'd be constantly pulling it up. Definitely going to need fashion tape for this one though.
