Very comfy and it fits my wide feet! The bottom rubber goes around the shoe to give it a hard protection, but it is still very comfortable to walk as it can flex with the foot movement

Super cute but not what I expected

I was really looking forward to getting these in black. I've had the brown in my favorites for some time now but really needed a black pair of sandals to go with a black jumper for a wedding so I immediately purchased as soon as I seen they had the studded strappy sandals in black. I have a different pair of strappy sandals from AE but these studded sandals do not even come close to those. First, these are super cute, I wear size 6 and they fit perfectly, the straps are comfortable but the sole of shoe is solid, hard, thick, stiff and don't arch or bend when you walk. It also makes a really awkward noise walking on a hard surface. I would be ok if it sounded like wearing flip flops but sounds more like someone is smacking a wooden spoon on hard wood. I planned on dancing while wearing these and that's not going to happen because I have a feeling the straps will not hold if I do so. The studded sandals are super cute and if your not planning on walking much or at all they are perfect but I definitely would not recommend. I'm really disappointed in the quality of the sole and I will return and try to find a much more comfortable, quieter sandal to match my attire. If these were like my other AE sandals I would be buying the brown ones too! I don't normally do reviews but had I known what the sandals were actually like I would not have purchased. Super disappointed!
