I now own these in every color in fact, I may have already written a review, but since I’m wearing these today, I thought I would share some photos. I was in AE recently, looking for some jeans as I have lost a tremendous amount of weight in the last year. While I’m having a hard time finding jeans that fit me right & are flattering & comfortable enough to wear, considering I live in sweats nowadays, a nice lady working the store actually pulled these in the olive color to try on. I did it to appease her but to my surprise, I was instantly in love! The fabric for one is soft & stretchy, which is rare for pants like these. The subtle barrel combined with the cargo details, not only do these give a nice comfy, streetwear-casual vibe, they can also easily be dressed up. I can wear these to work with a cute bodysuit & flats, or I can style it as you see in the photo with a basic crop & sneakers, (or if youre like me & switch into slippers as soon as you get home lol) anyway, they make me feel cute & put together while being comfortable. I tried on several sizes of these, ended up with 000 for all pairs. I can’t really speak to sizing specifically considering I am still trying to figure out what size I am & it seems it’s different for every pair of pants I try on lately, I normally wear xs in most of Aeries bottoms. As you can see I have pancake butt/ no curves which is another reason I like these due to the cargo pockets in the back it helps accentuate the booty a lil. So with that said, I do think these tend to run a little big & you can probably size down one due to the stretch. With summer in mind, these are a great & lightweight very breathable, especially if youre like me & you were on the fence to try barrel pants, these are a great start. Admittedly, I didnt think this style would flatter me or be comfortable but I think barrel jeans may be my new fav style!

Finding cargo pants have always been difficult for me, either they are too long or too tight for my buttocks. When I went inside the store I had seen the perfect barrel pants. I went to try to them on and I couldn’t be happier I had found the perfect cargo pants for my height and size. They had even came with extra buttons on the back of you want to snatch your waist better. I feel so successful every time I wear them. American Eagle will be my new home.

I bought these in the green and camo colors. I actually bought two pair of camo. They are so flattering and comfortable. I’m 5’10” 190lbs and the 12 tall is roomy on me. I am normally a 12 or 10 in AE pants. Definitely could have sized down, but this way I can dry them and not worry about any shrinking. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a pair of medium weight cute pants.

Loved these pants!! I went down a size from my normal and I’m happy I did. They are baggy throughout the bottom but they are fitted in the waist so they don’t look unflattering. You do need to pair it with a nice basic fitted cropped top and there you go. Super cute outfit. Totally out of my comfort zone but I’m loving it.
