AE Oversized Plaid Lined Denim Jacket

omggg i love this jacket so much. it fits so well and is a great wash and is sooo comfortable

This jacket is really cute and soft, I really liked it. It hits right below my hips and I'm 5'2" and got it in size M. The only downside is that the sleeves aren't plaid lined, just keep that in mind. You can layer a sherpa jacket/hoodie or a flannel if you're looking for something warmer but to be honest with you, it never gets that cold in my country so I'm totally okay with the jacket as it is. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I like it even more because I got it on sale haha... The material is soft but still sturdy — I can't wait to wear it when the weather gets cooler! Normally a size XS but sized down to XXS for this because it's oversized. Glad I did! Sleeves are a little long but I can roll them up and it still looks cute. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I like it and I don’t at the same time. If you don’t want the oversized look size down a size or two. I got a small and I’m usually a medium/large. The fit is weird, it’s baggy at the shoulders and super long. So short people this won’t look flattering on you. Also makes me look more chubby lol. XS would have fit more better. But I don’t like how it looks on me. It’s long, super baggy bc it’s oversized lol, weird look, stiff and heavy. Weighs about ~2lbs. It’s not soft at all but the inside is like a fleece type. It is warm, I like that but I wish they did one that isn’t oversized. :( I’m returning but I do like the idea of the plaid fleece. I wanted a warm denim jacket but this doesn’t look flattering on me. But yeah good ahead and buy it. If you don’t like it you can always return. :) #AEReviewSweepsEntry

So I followed the reviews and got a size up just to have it be extra baggy and it was. I love that it is heavy and soft but I wish I had gotten it in a medium instead of a large because it’s really big.

This is definitely going to be my go to jacket for fall. Its VERY warm which I was surprised about honestly, the pictures don't show it well but the inside is like almost fleecy. Its cute, runs small i would say. At least for me. It says oversized, and I am usually a M in AE and Aerie, but i bought an XL to be safe and I'm pleased with how it fits. If you're bigger chested like myself I would go up a size or two to get that true "oversized" feel. :) The one downside is I felt like the quality of the material wasn't up to the standards I'm used to from AE hence the 4 star rating. Probably wouldn't pay full price for it (I had coupons from AEO rewards) but if you don't mind the price tag, go for it! Its definitely gonna be one of my fall faves #AEReviewSweepsEntry
