AE Tiered Pleated Maxi Dress

Rarely do I remember to come back and write reviews, but my experience with this dress was too good not to share. As the teacher overseeing prom, I wanted to match my students’ energy and look nice for the event, but my body has changed a lot since my own high school prom and it’s hard to find a formal dress I feel comfortable in. After looking high and low in all kinds of stores, I ordered this as a last ditch effort pretty close to the event. It came way earlier than the quoted shipping date. I ordered it in two sizes just in case, and the large fit the best. The back is stretchy and gave plenty of bust room while managing to hold its own. I didn’t have to wear a bra or nippies and I felt secure all night. I wore the straps because I was moving a lot, but I honestly could’ve done strapless. The flowy, tiered lower half eliminated my insecurities about my midsection, allowing me to feel both comfortable and pretty. Even at full price, it was a bargain for how well it’s made. I haven’t felt this good in a dress in a long, long time. It was the perfect level of formal without being over the top, so I can wear it to plenty of other kinds of events. I got compliments all night and people have reached out on social media to ask where I got it. Thank you, AE!

I bought this dress when I found it on sale and fell in love. I cannot wear it outside without getting so many compliments. It will make you feel like a mermaid princess!!
