AE Eyelet Babydoll Top

I absolutely love this top! It is beautifully made. Very flattering fit for my curves. I love cream color and the flower embroidery. I love how the shirt hangs on me. I feel like it’s a nice length as well. Part of it is a bit see through so I always wear a cami underneath, but I don’t think it takes away from the beauty of the top in the slightest. I wanted this to be cute and usually with AE it's a safe bet but I wasnt crazy about this top. Also the eyelets are open/holes. Idk. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This top was really disappointing. Based on the original price I expected the fabric to be more substantial, but it feels cheap and flimsy. It's very lightweight and as a result, it doesn't hang well. It's too thin and very transparent, so not only are the eyelets large but the fabric itself is see-through. There's no way to wear this without a cami. It also does not hit under the bust the way it appears to in the picture, but the empire waist hits at a very odd place slightly above the bustline. This top is so cute in theory. In reality though, it's essentially a tent with some cut outs. C'mon AE, give your tops some shape!!! Not every woman is a stick with no boobs. It just hung off the tip of my nips and went straight down. It didn't nip back in under the boob even though the style looks like it would.
