This nighty is super soft. I typically buy XS in AE or Aerie, unless it’s over sized. This is a bit loose, but super comfortable. It is sheer, just in case that helps anyone. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Soft, cool, weightless, and very sheer

I have this nightie in the floral print and black, and I really love it. The fabric is super-thin, but it doesn’t feel delicate. I’m very sensitive to warmth—I can’t sleep if I’m even a little overheated—and this nightie keeps me cool and comfortable.
The floral is completely see-through, which is expected given the white base. Be aware though that even the black one is sheer. The way the knit is constructed, there are vertical stripes that are comprised only of horizontal stretch threads, if that makes sense, which are not opaque regardless of color.
The sheerness is most noticeable anywhere it stretches, so sizing up would probably help, or layering a bralette underneath, if that’s a concern. I got my usual size medium (5’6” 145 lbs), which fits comfortably, but is very obviously non-opaque at the bust. My husband doesn’t mind at all :)

i am quite happy with this nightie. I have Aeries modal underwear so i thought i would try the nightie.
The material is exactly as expected. very strechy, soft, comfortable, and cool. I washed and dryed it on the delicate cycle and it looks great.
I found the sizing to be generous. i usually like my clothing loose so i purchased an xl as this is a little more fitting. I probably would have been fine with a large as its quite stretchy.

I have been obsessed with this material! Aerie also has some underwear with the same fabric and I am obsessed with it! My only complaint is that the gray dress is a tiny bit see-through, but no worries about that because it is for sleeping. It is true to size, I ordered a medium and usually wear a medium/large (I am about 150-160 lbs)
