AE It Knit Skort

This skort is so comfortable and the fit is perfect. Very cute.

Super cute! The material feels nice and it is very comfortable. It is also pretty flattering! But if your someone with a shorter torso it will sit kind of high, but I had no issues just rolling it down and adjusting it to fit better. The elastic waistband does squeeze a bit if your a little thicker so maybe size up if you feel it might be an issue.

Cute skirt bought M and it was a bit large. Usually a size 8/10. Wore it so wont be returning but should have tried it on in store.  #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I really like this skirt, however 1) the waistband does need to be carefully adjusted considering all the layers and ways they are attached; 2) I'm 5'8" and the S Long is still pretty short on me. I wear it at my natural waist/just covering belly button and it's fine but definitely the shortest I'd go for a versatile mini skirt.

If you're interested and dont have a big booty, size down as the skort is very stretchy and soft. Keep it mid-rise for more coverage. High-rise barely covered my flat booty. Personally, I thought it felt too much like athleisure and a skort I already own. As for the shorts, they were big on me but they were still tiny in terms of inseam (not a 4 or a 3" inseam). I admit this is a ME problem and I intend on returning the skort. (BTW check the seams. My skort came with hanging threads in the slit area)

I bought this skort and one other from AE before going on a trip out of the country. This skort was the better of the two for me. The material didn't wrinkle much, despite being rolled up and compressed in a packing cube. It was a super easy to wear and comfortable as well. The first picture is from a day at a theme park where I dressed it down. The second picture I was going for a chill, edgy vibe and it paired perfect with fishnets and Doc Martens. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because of two reasons. The first is the elastic in the waist band tends to twist around when washing and also sometimes throughout the day. I sometimes had trouble getting it to lay flat. The other reason is, ya girl has thicc thighs and the shorts tended to ride up while walking around. It wasn't a huge deal most of the time, but it sometimes it felt like it defeated the point of it being a skort because the shorts basically ended up riding up to being where my underwear was. It would probably fit me better if this came in curvy sizing. Something to think about if you have a decent size difference between your waist and hip measurements.

i originally got this skort to wear with band tees this summer, but when it got here it was too big! i’d say these run large as i am normally a medium in most AE bottoms and a 4 in their jeans. it is high waisted so it gaps in the waist if you’re more of an hourglass shape like me. i returned for a small and it was perfect! so size down at least once. :)

im 5’7 185lbs and ordered a large after looking at the size chart. I absolutely could have sized down, maybe even two sizes. there is an extreme amount of stretch. very high waisted too. the slit is perfect. easy to dress up or down.

this skort was cute and a great stample for summer. i would have liked it better if it was a little more fitted. i felt like it runs big

Irs nice fabric and has built in shorts but theyre like boy short underwear , the shorts do not cover ur butt at all so i have to wear spanx under them. but the skirts cute just not covering.

The only reason I give this skort a 4 is because the short underneath are not longer on the longer version then the regular version. Otherwise the long is much more apropriate for my body type (5'4" with curves) Very cute and super comfy, I choose a med and im ordinary between med and large

It's cute! I believed it was going to be snug but stretchy, it's stretchy but has a small flare! I have thicker thighs and seeing the girlie's post their pics it made it seem that way. So that's a bit disappointing ); Other than that it's a cute,stylish and comfortable skort!

I'm a pretty true medium and the medium ran a bit big on me. It's super cute and feel high quality and I can definitely make the medium work but keep it in mind if you have a smaller waist compared to hip area. For reference, I'm about 5'2 and 140 pounds. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I dont particularly love how there’s a seam right on the front of the skirt where the slit is, but other than that I think its a great skirt, especially since there are shorts built in! I think I will be exchanging for a smaller size since I want it to be tighter fitting (ordered a size small).

very cute, I took a XL because it said there is "some stretch" but the fabric is actually really stretchy. That being said I noticed AE has the tendency to change the specifications for the "larger" sized so I will have to see what the L is like.

these are comfortable and cute the fabric is thick and soft i would have liked the tall better but it wasnt available i would still wear these somewhere casual but be careful of the length

This skirt is super cute and feels pretty comfortable. The only setback is the built in shorts ride up alot. Love it though!!

I bought this for a cute outfit when going to holiday parties and it was not only fashionable but stylish as well! I got compliments on it and the best part it's a good transition piece for many season. My only suggestion was that I wish it had a little more structure to the fabric and the shorts not be so transparent. American Eagle has good quality material for there pieces so I was a little disappointed that the shorts did not display the overall stature of thier clothing. A definite grab if its on sale.

This skirt is super flattering and cute with very comfy material. Be aware that it runs very large. I wear a small but needed an XSmall

true to size. i get small long in the leggings but just a small for this skirt is long enough 5ft9. the built in shorts are really stretchy

i like the skirt its comfortable and i like how it has shorts but i woukd say size down one if you want it to be a little tighter cause i got an XL and its too big but ill find a way for it to work

i love the skirt but the reviews arent kidding when they say to size down. im a medium bottom in everything from ae & a small is still looser on me than id like but im hoping it may shrink a little. for reference im 5’1, 130 lbs, & i carry most of my weight in my middle & a small is still loose on my tummy!!
