Although these were good quality I did not keep. I am carrying a little bit of extra weight on my belly and the pleats in the front are not flattering for my body type.

runs too large and inconsistent sizing

These shorts are so cute, and I still like the way they look, but I am SO disappointed and frustrated with the sizing inconsistency I keep encountering at AE/aerie! I normally wear a size 0 (what I purchased here) or 2 (because of the aforementioned sizing inconsistency). I don’t see any reason for why these pants have such a huge waistline—especially for a high-rise style with stretch. A real headache.
