AE Classic Black Denim Vest

So I had purchased a Denim sleeveless jacket from AE years ago (about 10) and my daughter had taken over. So I decided to buy myself a new one! The boyfriend denim jacket is perfect! So perfect that I order 3 (blk, blue, and light blue for my daughter) Thank you!

I cant fully say if this is true to size or not since I haven't worn women's clothes in over 5 years, but will say this vest is great! Men's vests I wear are usually long on my torso (doesn't make a big difference since I wear mens' jeans too), and gaps a bit on the back of the shoulders. Expected. I decided to try out the boyfriend fit and really like it! not boxy, NOT curve-hugging which i love for my clothing style, and hits right at my belt line with the shoulders drapped cool. Bonus that this vest isn't full of holes and distressed. I just wanted a nice, solid, demin vest for summer, and found it.... I'm opened to try the rest of the boyfriend line in this case. Probably size down if you want it to fit more classic/with your frame (but i like clothes men's-styled-slim-fit so guessing this was my true size?)

This denim vest is so cute over a short sleeve t-shirt. It's a faded black color that will go with all my jeans and all colors of my jegging joggers (black, olive, & burgundy). It would probably be good over some dresses too. This is advertised as "Oversized," but it's definitely not oversized. I'm glad I ordered a Small as XS would've been too small for me. 5'3"/124 pounds/32DD. I have a short torso and it's about 2 or 3 inches past my belly button. I'd say to order your true size if you want a classic fit, not an oversized fit.

I love this black Vest style denim jacket. Nice fit with a surprise inside pocket.
