The good thing is that the romper has buttons that allow you to adjust the length of the shoulder straps. It was still a bit long on me and I wish I got XS

this romper is adorable! it does run a little loose, but the straps are a little short. i think if they added about one more inch to the straps it would be perfect. it is a little short in length but that’s okay since im only 5’4. another reviwer mentioned something negative about the adorable stitching in the front of the ginham and saw it as a flaw, but it is meant as a delicate, pretty detail. i love the stitching. i cant wait to wear them. i bought it both in the green and the gingham.

Weird Seams Look Like They’re Unraveling

My main issue is the the two darts in the front of the romper are open stitched for some reason, leaving obvious holes in the fabric that make the romper look like it’s going to unravel at any moment. You can see this if you zoom in to the product photos of the romper laid flat. they aren’t as obvious in the pictures, but they’re extremely obvious in real life - they were the first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the package. i returned it because i felt that made the garment look unfinished and cheap, especially for the price tag. although it was very flattering, as a 5’6” woman who wears an XS I did find it was slightly too short for my torso, but when I adjusted the straps longer they fell off my shoulders (but AE’s smaller sizes seem to be made for shorter people - they should really carry XS tall in their bodysuits/rompers).
