Why are there no colors or patterns anymore?

Why are they all so ugly now, unless you want yout bits cradled in chafing microplastics? They all look like prison or basic training underwear. The cotton plus elastane was perfection, and they used to come in colors so if people in the same family wore the same size you’d know who had what. Now its all Amishwear.
