Bought this as a gift for my sister in law for her birthday and she loved it. Although it wasn’t for me the quality and price was excellent. Love aerie and all their stuff.

I was always Self-conscious about wearing a hat, but this one particular hat I had to get it so I took the chance and ordered it, remind you this is the first time I’ve worn A straw hat, When I received it I tried it on and I fell in love I’ll be definitely ordering more.

I wasn't even looking for a hat when I spotted this beauty on your site but once I saw it, I knew I had to make it mine. It fits great and I have long, thick hair. My sister has shorter hair and after trying it on, she has been eyeing it with great interest. The style is just different enough to stand out from all the other straw hats. Coming from the land of actual "Panama" hats (Ecuador), this is no "Panama" hat. The crown is very tall and has no dome whatsoever, only a very drastic dip (at least it's a tear-shaped dent), giving it serious western vibes instead of a more toquilla hat look. Nice, wider than expected brim though (I guess the tallness of the crown obscures that in the photo). There's some sort of wire or plastic core inside the sewn edge, which gives it some firmness but also a weird stiff wave that got deformed due to packaging. At least it came in a box, albeit not a proper hat box. Color is accurate to photo. It's paper, but tag states 6% polyester (I assume the band & sweatband). Has an elastic drawstring. It's somewhat cute for the price anyway.

It’s a beautiful hat and great quality for the price. However I found the top was too high and had more of a country/western feel. Need to return :(
