Hi Aerie Fam!
I’m Syma, Senior Manager of PR for Aerie and so excited to take you inside our Hidden Gems Marketplace we hosted in NYC on August 15th.
We partnered with a few of our favorite NYC gems to spotlight that included, Brooklyn Blooms, Inked by Dani, Kobrick Coffee Co., Mikey Likes It Ice Cream, Palace One Eleven, Popup Bagels, Schmackary’s, Sunday Forever, Sun Bumand Tom’s Perfect 10 Granola. We were able to give away the most amazing (free) treats and share the love with our NYC community which was so special.
We also had an incredible pop-up bra shop within the marketplace where guests had the chance to donate their used bra before getting fitted in a new bra from our Fall 2023 collection by an on site bra specialist. All donations went to Free The Girls – a non-profit that turns new and gently used bras into economic opportunity and a path to freedom for sex trafficking survivors. We also featured a booth filled with our very own Hidden Gems “It List” of cozy, comfy products for Fall 2023. Shop them here!
Another fun part of the event was the special prize wheel we created where you could win Aerie goodies! The vibes were immaculate and the event brought the NYC energy we love with DJ Kharisma spinning the beats.
One of my favorite parts of the event? Our very own newspaper giveaway! We created an “Aerie Real” newspaper that we were able to give out to guests and utilize as part of our event decor that was so cool. The newspaper featured a look back at our #AerieREAL movement, AerieREAL Foundation, members of our Aerie Fam like Brianna Joye, our newest bra collection and a breakdown of our amazing vendors at our marketplace!
Another cool aspect – our vendor Brooklyn Blooms – founded by LaParis Phillips was able to use our Aerie Real newspaper to wrap their beautiful flowers for our guests which made the bouquet even more special to us!

It was so nice to be with my Aerie fam and see how we all rock the new fall collection. My look was simple, chic and oh so comfy that included the : OFFLINE By Aerie Rock N Roll Cropped T-Shirt & the Aerie High Waisted Shine Wide Leg Pant. I can’t wait to wear it again. Will definitely be on repeat as we head into the fall months! I may or may not have the shine wide leg pants in every color…shop them here. 🙂
We had a gem of a day at the Hidden Gems Marketplace! Definitely one for the books. Planning the event with our team and our incredible partners at Shadow was so much fun and so amazing to see it come to life. Thank you and shout-out to our vendors, Aerie associates and all the awesome team members that helped make this event happen. I’m still dreaming about the Pop Up Bagels weeks later (lol) and highly recommend checking out all the amazing vendors we were able to spotlight.
