How to Contribute to Social Justice ft. #AerieREAL Changemaker Zoë Jenkins

Our Aerie fam is passionate about making the world a better place. There’s no better proof of that than the hundreds of applications we get to our #AerieREAL Changemakers program every year!

In honor of Social Justice Awareness Month, 2021 #AerieREAL Changemaker Zoë Jenkins has put together a quick guide on how to make an impact on the causes you care about the most.

A longtime social justice advocate, Zoë is the founder of DICCE, an organization building empathy and equity through Gen-Z led diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism curriculum. As a leading voice on the importance of empathy and inclusion in K-12 education, Zoë has facilitated workshops with Stanford’s d.school and The Nobel Prize, delivered two TEDx talks, and hosted a celebration of Gen Z “civic superheroes” with Civics Unplugged.

Zoë’s video below draws on her years of advocacy experience to compile some helpful pointers on how to act on the causes that most matter to you. Watch to learn her insights on how to identify the causes that matter most to you, set actionable goals to contribute to them, leverage your unique strengths and maintain your progress.
