Style Inspo: Legging Looks to Wear Now

I’m Syma, Senior Manager of PR here at Aerie, and I #LiveInMyLeggings! And if you’re part of the Aerie fam, you probably do too! 

I’m here to share some outfit inspo for you to take your leggings beyond working out and lounging on the couch. 

There are endless ways you can wear your fave leggings. Here are three ways I’m styling mine for my usual weekly activities: coffee run, weekend errands and a night out. 

COFFEE RUN

For an easy coffee run look, I love wearing our OFFLINE by Aerie Goals High Waisted Legging with an oversized sweatshirt.

Plus, it comes in the best colors (like this shade of blue, which is a great neutral to pair back with your wardrobe staples). The leggings have a raw cut hem and are cool to the touch. To complete the look, I love throwing on a menswear-inspired jacket. The coat adds structure to the outfit and always takes my casual look to the next level.

WEEKEND ERRANDS (BUT MAKE IT CHIC)

For a weekend running errands and shopping around the city, I love pairing our OFFLINE by Aerie Quilted Long Puffer Coat with The Hugger High Waisted Ribbed Legging. You can’t go wrong with a monochromatic look: instant chic!

The OFFLINE jacket does a new take on the puffer coat in this timeless silhouette. I love the collar, quilted detail and belt addition. You can cinch the waist (like I did here) or wear it loose for a more relaxed fit. I completed my look with the OFFLINE by Aerie Cozy Soft Beanie (so warm!) and my statement black boots to add some edge.

A NIGHT OUT 

For a night out this season, you can’t go wrong with an oversized cardigan, legging and boot combo.

For this look, I chose my absolute favorite leggings: the OFFLINE by Aerie Real Me High Waisted Legging. I live in these leggings. If you haven’t tried them yet — you must! This is also the same fabric our viral crossover leggings come in, which as you may know are a crowd favorite. The OFFLINE by Aerie Real Me High Waisted Legging is the perfect black legging — the fabric is ultra-light with soft support and a weightless touch.

All I want to wear are oversized cardigans these days and this Aerie CozyUp Oversized Cardigan has moved to the top of my sweater stack! It’s so soft and has the perfect slouchy feel; plus, it is the ideal length for leggings. I love this cardigan so much, I have it in multiple colors!

I layered the sweater over another staple: the Aerie Seamless Bralette, which I can’t recommend enough.

Another great match? Cardigans and cowboy boots. I finalized my outfit with my go-to black cowboy boots to add some flair. It’s a super easy look to recreate, dressy enough for a night out on the town and SO comfortable.
