Cute but did not fit like the others

This was my thrid time ordering cargos from AE and usually they fit me great but this pair did not at all, so i just ended up giving them to my sister and she looks better in them (shes taller than me) but still a bit too flowy on her too

wish they came in long

Ive been eyeing these for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. They are super comfy and soft, but definitely run big (Im typically an 8 and needed a 6). They also dont seem that high rise to me (but high enough). Lastly, I am 5’8” and feel like they are just a tad too short :( still contemplating if i will keep or not. Wish they came in long length!

Cute jeans, soft with nice stretch and color. Giving 3 stars because I do not think these are super high waisted compared to other jeans. I returned due to poor fit for my long torso.

Wanted to love these

I wanted to love these so badly! It was my first time buying wide leg jeans and I had really high hopes because I've been gradually getting into baggier clothing lately. Unfortunately, I have short, thick legs so these are just not flattering on me. I can definitely see these being more flattering on someone with thinner legs. I'm not quite sure if maybe I'm just not used to seeing this cut on me or if they truly do not look good on me. These do make my butt look amazing tho, so that adds a star for me! I'm not going to let these go to waste. I'm going to give them a try and ask for some second opinions from people that I know will be honest about them. If the overall opinion is a no, I'm going to try taking them in a couple inches around the ankles and give it a try that way. If you have longer, thinner legs I recommend! Just wouldn't recommend if you have short, thick legs

Love the look but VERY stretchy

I love the look and the original fit. What I mean by “original” is the fit when you first try them on. Within 10 minutes these jeans stretch out and become low rise jeans. Be warned there is A LOT of stretch.

Didn't fit like I'd hoped

I bought these jeans in a size 2 because I have another pair of AE jeans that are a size 2 and they are the only jeans that fit me. However, the website and stores around me have no "2 short" options. These jeans are very soft, don't get me wrong, it's just there is not a lot of size options.

cute but not very durable

i loved these jeans but within 4 moths of having them the fabric ripped not on the seam on the inner thigh. i was so sad. I’m not sure if i got a bad pair or not but I’m not very active and had 4 other pairs of jeans i wore regularly so i dont think i over wore them if that is a thing.

I don’t understand how they call these super big waisted. These have a shorter rise than my other “high-rise” jeans hitting right below the belly button. Super unflattering which is disappointing because the rest of the jean is cute

Cute but uncomfortable

I’m not sure if it’s a sizing issue or just not my style but these were so uncomfortable. They fit everywhere except the crotch area; they are tight. Maybe I just need to go up a size, or maybe the style isn’t for me. I’m not sure because I got two pairs of the “Dream Drape”, and they are both extremely suffocating in that area. I’m so sad because they are extremely cute.
I am 5 foot 8 inches and weigh 170 pounds. I purchased a size 8 long.

Definetly runs small. I’m a size 20, i got 4 pants in that size and this one wouldnt even buckle. and tight on the the thighs.

These jeans are incredibly long and just not flattering at all. I have bought other baggy jeans from AE that I LOVE, expecting the same. But these were incredibly disappointing. I'm 5'5, bought an 18 SHORT and we're still stepping on the hems.

TOO baggy and long

I’m 5’3 for reference. I’m an 8 reg in AE jeans and these did fit as expected waist/hip wise. The length on the other hand, did not. These jeans are longer than expected and they’re way too baggy. I tried them on with a shoe for reference. The model wearing these jeans is deceiving. They don’t look near as baggy on the model as they do in person. So if you dont like super baggy jeans, these are not for you. I will be returning these.

Very Large fit around waist

Size 2/26w usually fits, but I had a three inch gap PLUS it's a stretch fabric. I love them, but I will likely have to tailor or return them unfortunately. They are not the advertised size. I bought the two other colors as well. Black is even bigger, tan is slightly smaller. There is no consistency.

ridiculously long. ordered a short which has always fit and they were too long so i returned and ordered an extra short and they were still a good 2 to 3 inches too long that they would get stuck under my heal. sad bc they fit amazing other wise and were so cute.

Waaaaaay too long

I've bought these for my daughter 3 times now, and every time no matter what size I got, they are just a mile too long. She's a whole foot shorter than me, and they even drag under my feet. Everything else is fine with the fit, but idk who y'all made the length for. A person would have to be about 6 ft tall just to not trip over the bottoms of the pants. #AEreviewsweepstakes
