I only buy bikinis from Aerie and every year I am always a small top medium bottom. Reviews said that it fits small which I think is an understatement. I ordered a medium top and when it arrived it honestlty looks like its for a small child. It does fit but its definitely snug !
I love the style and colour but I would say these are not true to size at all !

I get all my swim suits from American Eagle. I am 5’6 and weigh 185 pounds. I typically wear size large, unfortunately not even the 2xl fit for this swim suit.

I love the green colour, and i liked the design on the model… but not on me. Very unflattering on me, as a wide-rib-cage-but-small-boobs girly (36A). The medium felt fine but looked strangely tight, the straps are flimsy and tend to turn, and the fabric without pads is very thin. I will return this top and wait for another style to drop in the green colour.

This top was disappointing on many levels. As others stated, why is there no lining/ padding? Most women want that for support and so their nipples dont show. Having to buy the pads separately is an odd choice, especially when its under the impression that its "Earth friendly." How is it Earth friendly when many women buy the pads separately and they are shipped in plastic packaging? Secondly, this top is so small. I always wear a medium in Aerie bathing suit tops (34 B). Im going to size up to a large (which Ive never done before) just to see if the fit is better. What is going on with the sizing and thin material Aerie?

I ordered for my daughter based on the size chart. The medium has a tiny cup- might fit an A or B at most. No pads included either. Really frustrating trying to find bikini tops that are true to size.

ENTIRELY SEE THROUGH. I am writing this from the sunshade at the beach. Cannnot go in the water because this swimsuit is entirely see through, which I just discovered. Took my son in the water. You could see my entire n*ppkes, lady parts, EVERYTHING.

this bikini style is great… however its so seethrough and its even double layered .. bottoms were also see though you could see the lable writing ….. good thing i tried this at our home pool before the beach. this was more see-through than any white ones ive owned ! im all for free the nipple untill its thr wrong place im least expecting it to show

runs small & big - no support. im a 32D medium does not fit not even close. was looking for a top that wasnt super covering but they didnt fit my boobs at all, cover the top & bottom is out, cover the under boob and top is out. Not tight enough around the back and cant tighten it either. couldnt fit a large as the band would be far too big. i have a full chest, full on top and bottom, more top heavy.

this bathing suit is so disappointing. aerie is switching to fast fashion with cheap material, no padding, and making their sizes smaller- if i wanted a shein quality bathing suit, I would have just bought from shein. its like these bathing suits are made for a girls body type, not for women

Im so disappointed in Aerie’s swimsuits this year. They are not including the swimpads in tops. My daughter got one for her bday. She is 13 and wants the pad. Aerie says they are sold seperately but they have none available for purchase. i spent more on the pads on Amazon than i paid for the swimsuit. I will never buy swimsuits from Aerie again

I purchased this swimsuit top and matching bottoms because it looked very cute online. However when I went for a swim, it went from Aerie to areola very quick. You could see everything! When I got out of the water I had to run, covering my nipples! The bottoms are see through as well! I would not recommend this product to others.

I bought this for my daughter after she wore the top one time it has faded horribly. She hadn’t worn the bottoms yet and they look horrible together now. Took it into the store and the employees to explain the situation they did nothing and said once it’s worn nothing they can do. You should stand behind your product!
My daughter is a swimmer we know how to take care of swimsuits. So we are stuck with a swimsuit we wore one time and can’t wear again.

Light Pink is see through- my daughter found out the hard way by wearing it to the beach, going for a swim, and having her nipples on show for the entite beach. Reached out to customer service and they're telling me I need to buy separate pads, which I find ridiculous and cheap... a suit should nto be see through, pads or no pads!

Removing the padding was the single dumbest move AE could have made. For the handful of people who dont want it, here's a thought: remove and discard it. Easy. Youre instantly on display!! And BOTH sides win. The rest of us want it and we cannot make it appear. Pay extra for it then 'cut to fit' (which isnt easy and does not work). NO.

Awful returned immediately. Way too small for a medium - I have bought many aerie products before and always have been a medium and this just wasn't it. I can't even post a photo because nips were basically out right away. I don't think this would hold up in the water at all. Ugly, not flattering, and weirdly shiny. Worst aerie product I've received
